Olympic values

These Values are:
  • respect – fair play; knowing one’s own limits; and taking care of one’s health and the environment
  • excellence – how to give the best of oneself, on the field of play or in life; taking part; and progressing according to one’s own objectives
  • friendship – how, through sport, to understand each other despite any differences
The Paralympic Values are based on the history of the Paralympic Games and the tradition of fair play and honourable sports competition.
They are:

  • courage
  • determination
  • inspiration
  • equality.

Lily all alone

There once was a robot who lived all alone in the woods her name is Lily. One day Lily
saw a big train came throw. But Lily did not want to hop on the train today because she
was having too much fun and she knew it was going to came back so from that day until
the train comes she just  plays only one game leaf jump. It was a thursday when the train
came back and Lily was just sitting on a leaf. When Lily saw the train she jumped up and
as fast as she could ran after the train until she found an open door. Lily jumped on the
train and went inside it was night so she had a snooze. In the morning she arrived at the
train station . The train station looked very lonely from the outside but from the inside it
was a whole different place it was like a palace but from the outside it looked as dirty as
an junkyard. Inside the place was lots and lots of different robots and they all had the
some sticker as Lily and she saw her mum and dad in the middle of the crowd. “Mum Dad
is that you?”Lily said with a smile “Lily is that you” said Lily's Mum. Lily was so happy that
she found her mum and dad that she jumped up and down. The next day she woke and
she was somewhere where she didn’t know well at least she didn’t remember that this
was her home. Sence she was gone for years she didn’t remember.

My year refection

I am halfway through my awesome year of learning in Room 20. How am I learning?

Some things that are different about this year are that there is more technology .

Having a computer and Google account has helped me to write and email people.

I like having a blog because I can share my work with the whole world.

I share my learning by putting it on my blog and sharing docs.

I help others by telling them  when they have done something very good and to help them when they are stuck and confused .

I use ICT to help my learning in these ways learning to write better and longer stories I can read things and makes it easier to get homework when we are sick.

I get feedback for my learning from Mr M and My learning buddy also my family. They give me feedback by  telling me how good I have done and when I have done something wrong. This makes me feel good cause someone is committing on my work.

Things I am really proud of achieving in Room 20 are my writing my maths and my reading.
